Mindful parenting is not about becoming the "perfect parent" but rather being present in our parenting as we are- with all it's imperfections.
This is done by developing the qualities of listening with full attention when interacting with your children, cultivating emotional awareness and self-regulation in parenting, and bringing compassion and nonjudgmental acceptance the ways to interact.
